New Health Care Is Dawning In Kenya
I just got off an 18 hour flight from Kenya and here I am writing about my experience there. It was great to travel to rural Kenya, specifically Kakamega, to see the new developments of TropicalClinics, the first center in Kenya providing a comprehensive and integrated HIV care for women and children. How exciting!
It was heart warming to see young clinicians and nurses sharing their expertise at the TropicalClinics medical camp. They tested and treated some of the 1500 people who came to the camp for malaria and HIV. They provided dental care as well as immunized all the children for vaccine preventable diseases.
See Pictures from a very productive and successful medical camp.
Lovingly,
Margaret
