TropicalClinics Conducts Annual Benefit on
November 12, 2007
We have just come from a great “Friendraiser”
at TropicalClinics’ Annual Benefit on November
12. It was a wonderful evening. B. Smith was
instrumental in helping us make a number of new
friends who support the belief that families in
need throughout Africa deserve access to top
notch medical facilities year round. It was an
inspirational evening and it fueled
our conviction that people care about other
people and are willing to go the distance to
help others.
Our organization is dedicated to offering
medical solutions to women and children
in Africa affected by HIV/AIDS. TropicalClinics
is also working hard to reduce pregnancy related
deaths of women in rural Kenya.
Our latest project is the construction of a
one-of-a kind diagnostic and healing center in
Kakamega, Kenya, a rural area 250 miles
northwest of Nairobi. Upon its completion it
will house a state-of-the-art diagnostic
laboratory with a CT-Scan, MRI and Dialysis
machine, and will serve over 500 patients a day.
We are in dire need of immediate support to stay
on track to open the clinic’s doors in Kakamega
in 2008. We must raise $150,000 by March 10th
to ensure continued construction on the new
clinic. Please, help us reach this goal
with your personal gift today. Make a donation
of any amount today and help our diagnostic and
healing center in Kakamega become a reality.
Please see funding opportunities which highlight TropicalClinics' work
to see how your gift will directly benefit the
people of Kakamega.
Thank you for your consideration to support of
TropicalClinics.
Warmest Regards,
Margaret
